Great local resturaunt. Great everyday menu, and a specials menu that changes regularly. Friendly staff, and the owners are very involved. Fine for kids up to around 9-10:00. Live entertainment on the weekends.

What a fun little place! The building must have been a previous repair shop or something like that-one wall has 2 garage doors which adds to the kitsch of the place. Fun and bright decor, energetic bartenders. We sat at the bar and the regulars that sat next to us were telling us what they like to order on the menu. I got the Greek salad with chicken. The bowl was huge, enough for 2 people to share and it was delicious. The hubs got a gyro and fries, crinkle cut fries-bonus! I had a sample of it and it was just as good. They specialize in Saganaki, many flavors of it, which we didn't get to sample. Maybe next time, we will definitely be back.

Small and quaint. Dark and quiet sometimes. Thank goodness the smoking ban has taken effect, because this place would get overwhelming with smoke at night. The menu is huge and the variety is pretty good. My kids like it pretty well, but there is not a huge variety for kids, which is okay because my kids prefer adult meals. However, this really is not the best choice for kids ... about a quarter of the place is a bar. The service is acceptable, but don't expect anything that is above average. The place is small, but the servers just seem to have their back to the rest of the room most of the time. The food is standard coney island fare, nothing that has knocksmy socks off, but good and filling, fresh and quickly prepared. Prices are reasonable. Soda pop seems flat or just simply "off" a lot ... they always seem to have a problem with their soda machine.

We took our family here from out of state. The food and the service is always wonderful. We love the saganaki. Food is always consistent and never bad. The gyro is the best I've ever had. The meat is fresh. Our kids love it because they have games to keep them entertained.

Had a terrible experience at Opa's restaurant in Lake Orion last night. I took a US veteran there for his birthday, and he was treated horribly by the waitstaff and owners. They added another table's bill to his tab, and when he refused to pay it (he only wanted to pay his own) the called the OCPD and he ended us in cuffs in the back of a police car. The male owner threatened in front of the entire bar to blow his head off - actual words. I have never been so disgusted by the treatment of another human being, especially a long-time LO resident and veteran. I will never return to Opa's after this incident.

Meh. I had the spinach pie, and I've definitely had better.. considering the greek name, I was disappointed. It was also the least enthusiastic "OPA!" for saganaki I've ever heard. Friend ordered a burrito with no meat, they brought it with meat... although were quick to remedy the situation. The place was just meh. I am super interested in the alcohol slurpee machines though. Haven't tried them, but will probably go back to partake in the near future.

This place is local to us, it's the second time we have tried it. We ordered saganaki (hard to mess it up), French onion soup was good until my wife bit into a piece of aluminum foil, spinach pie was way overdone, salty, had dill in it and didn't come with tzatziki sauce (which also tasted old once ordered on the side). We didn't finish any of the food. Beer was good but once again hard to mess up bottled beer. Just got home and have been farting non stop!!!

I have tried this reastruant many times. At best it's passable. The whole place needs a deep cleaning . The bar waitstaff are slow and rude. More than once I was charged different on my bill than what menus prices were (always in their favor). Last night will be my last time. I ordered prime rib and I wished I would have taken a pic to post it was so terrible looking. The color was grey and tasted bad. The potatoe was just a regular potatoe but it was edible and the salad was limp like it had been frozen and served with the wrong dressing. It was not worth complaining to the waitress because she ovbiviously didn't give a #*+#. Don't bother unless your stopping by for a drink.

Stopped in to have a bite and drinks, seems I get way better service at a table..... I love their saganaki and the coconut shrimp was delish!!!

One of our favorite lunch spots :) The variety of food we've had is good. I usually have the fish n chips lunch special, but hubby has had the taco plate and some different sandwiches and always enjoyed it. The staff are always friendly and polite, and nice to my kids, which is a priority for us. The atmosphere is also fun, and my daughter likes finding new details in the decor and painted ceiling tiles whenever we visit.

Reasonably priced, homemade food. A little noisy on sport nights, but that's a good thing, right? I've eaten there for years and have never had a bad meal. The staff is friendly and helpful. Nice spot for a get together with friends.
